Comfortably installed in an armchair in the lounge, Michel allows himself a short break in and peacefully watches the sun go down. He has a newspaper on his knees, a steaming hot cup of coffee next to him. This businessman from Paris talks to us about his stay in the four-star Le Morgane hotel, "a delightful break, when time stops being an issue and where the daily stress gives way to peace and calm".

Michel is a busy man, caught in the trap of a hectic lifestyle. “I am snowed under with work,” he explained, and it is increasingly difficult to find just a few minutes to think about myself and escape from my daily life ». He first came to the four-star Morgane for a business seminar and freely admits falling immediately in love with the hotel. "We came here to work for two days on a complex project, and yet I felt relaxed and refreshed ». That’s why quite logically Michel suggested to Valérie, his wife, to spend a week in this location which had made such a pleasant impression on him. "I didn’t tell her much about the hotel; I wanted it to be a surprise…She fell in love with place as soon as we arrived!”

The first thing that won our guest over was the surrounding area. "Chamonix Valley cannot be marched by any other place. It’s a landscape that is both intimidating and reassuring due to its sheer beauty. There is a feeling of respect, humility, the sensation of being part of nature and to be living in harmony with it”. Hiking, outings by cable-car: Michel and Valérie have taken advantage of all the opportunities to discover this nature and to recharge their batteries as a result of coming into contact with this unique area.

Apart from the different outings, Michel and Valérie refer to their time in the four-star Le Morgane hotel with enthusiasm. Sophistication combined with comfort and complete satisfaction with the services provided. "The hotel décor is truly splendid! It’s somehow spare, simple yet welcoming. You feel good as soon as you walk in". Valérie, who has joined us in the lounge, adds: “The choice of materials is incredible. There’s a seamless blend of modern and traditional styles, while always remaining comfortable." This decoration and design enthusiast sees "a genuine source of inspiration".

Alas, Michel and Valérie’s stay is coming to an end. "What are we doing tomorrow? Well, we’re going to take advantage of the hotel spa and enjoy one last opportunity to relax before heading off home". Valérie’s face then lights: "Looking after my body in such surroundings – how could i end my holidays in a better way?!”

The sun sinks down little by little and it’s soon time to eat. This evening, they’ll be dining in Le Bistrot*. When asked whether they plan to return to the hotel for another break the response is immediate “Undoubtedly, but with our children next time. They’d love to have a winter holiday here, and take advantage of the ski slopes..." And they finish by saying: "It’s a paradise of well-being. They’re really can’t think of a better way of relaxing, whether you’re alone, a couple or with the whole family.”
