The efforts made in favour of the environment would be pointless if they were not followed up by responsible – or as responsible as possible- actions on the part of our customers. We have developed a small charter which we kindly request you to comply with as much as possible in order to back up our own actions.

Waste

Please:

  • use the bin in the room designed to facilitate sorting different types of waste.
  • leave glass bottles at the foot of the desk.
  • hand in your used batteries at reception.
  • use the semi-buried containers to sort your waste when you go into town. Recycling there works on the same principle as at the hotel.

Water

Please:

  • remember to turn off the taps when you brush your teeth or shave.
  • inform the reception if you spot a leak: the maintenance personnel will intervene quickly to make the necessary repairs.
  • do not put anything other than paper in the toilet to avoid causing problems at the sewage works.
  • inform the room personnel if you want to use your towels again by leaving them on the towel rack.

Noise

Please:

  • show consideration for the other guests when loading and unloading your car in the car park – people in nearby rooms may well be sleeping …

Energy

Please:

  • close the window when leaving your room in winter: the cleaning lady will air the room sufficiently.
  • turn off the television when you leave your room and remember to remove the energy card when going out.
  • at night, turn off the TV standby button. By doing so, you will save the equivalent of 30 minutes’ use.

Purchasing

Please:

  • give priority to the fruit and vegetables in season: they are fresher and involve less energy for transport and storage.
  • when you have the choice, focus more on fairtrade produce as this guaranties income compliant with the producers’ workload and cuts out middlemen.

Air

Please:

  • find out about public transport routes and times from the receptionists: if you show the guest card, you can travel for free between Servoz and Vallorcine.
  • walk into the town centre – it takes under five minutes and the pedestrian streets are very pleasant.
